The members of the Springboro Schools’ band and guard rely heavily on the generous donation of time by family and other supporters. Simply put, without our volunteers, available funding for the band would be impacted, students would be called away from their education and performance preparation, and some experiences they look forward to each year would not be possible.
There are several types of volunteer opportunities available each year. While some events require interaction with the students and require a background check, many opportunities do not. Information on how to get your background check can be found at the Springboro Schools website.
Volunteering at the concession stand during the volleyball or basketball season is required as part of a family’s commitment to participating in the marching band.
